This is a series of place holder or greeking text for use in OmniGraffle. I use this stencil to drag blocks of text in to design documents using my web design template and wireframe palette.
Installing the palette
1) Download the file GreekingAngeles.gstencil.zip
2) Move it to your ~/Library/Application Support/OmniGraffle/Stencils directory. The ~ represents your user "home" folder. Palettes installed here will be visible only to you.
You're done.
You can purchase Omnigraffle Professional 4.0 from Amazon. I highly recommend the Pro version over the standard -- the Pro version allows you to create documents using slide masters.
I made some minor modifications to the wireframe stencil/palette adding some new label markers, cursors including a hand pointer with tool tip, an AJAX spinner, a drop-down/selection menu with options showing, and a sizable window element.
Download the new version from the Wireframe page.

This is a very basic template and stencil for Visio wireframes. The stencil exists of a very basic set of shapes including title block, notes block, form elements, a label shape for identification purposes, an x'ed out block for graphics or areas where content is TBD, a greeked text block, text headings.
Visio 2003:

For user flows and site maps
I recommend Jesse James Garret's IA Stencils (Visio and EPS formats) and another nice shape set for wireframes is Peter Van Dijk's Visio IA layout shapes. For other Visio stencils, see the IAI tools page.
To share your drawings
If you wish to share drawings with people that don't have Visio, you have 2 options. What I do is export to PDF using Adobe Acrobat Professional. The other alternative is to use the free Visio Viewer application, which lets you view Visio drawings within MS IE. Get them here: Visio Viewer 2003 and Visio Viewer 2002.

This is my set of shapes for making wireframes (low-fidelity web page schematics) in OmniGraffle (Mac OS X). The image at right shows the stencil in action. It consists of a basic set of shapes including: browser chrome, title and footer block, icons, form elements, a greeked text block, text headings, some boxes, label and note blocks, navigation elements, and some icons created entirely in graffle.
Installing the palette
1) Download the file WireframeShapesAngeles.gstencil.tar.gz
2) Move it to your ~/Library/Application Support/OmniGraffle/Stencils directory. The ~ represents your user "home" folder. Palettes installed here will be visible only to you.
You're done.
Using the palette
When you open the stencil, drag the shapes onto your canvas. Be aware that you need to click and drag to select some of the elements that exist as multiple ungrouped objects, e.g. the form elements. I left these ungrouped so you can scale the text boxes without having the up/down arrows and the AJAX spinner scale disproportionately.
The title and footer elements use variables, so once you insert them into your master canvases, they will display the document title, page number, creator name, for the document/page that is being displayed.
To help you get started, I've also published a simple Web Design Template and a Greeking Stencil that work nicely with the Wireframe Stencil.
You can purchase Omnigraffle Professional 4.0 from Amazon. I highly recommend the Pro version over the standard -- the Pro version allows you to create documents using slide masters.
