I was wondering if anyone was working on teleportation. Seems it won't be possible in the way one may be thinking if we think in terms of Star Trek or Wonkavision teleportation (transporting objects or even people across space to be re-assembled). But some level of teleportation might be possible according to this article in the NYTimes:

Previous experiments in so-called quantum teleportation moved particles of light about a yard. The findings could aid the sending of unbreakable coded messages, which is limited to a few tens of miles.
