Drupal 6.0 Released

Drupal 6.0 released

I'm really looking forward to installing the newly released Drupal 6. Looks like some very well conceived improvements have been rolled into core. Can't wait to test it out.

I am still thinking about migrating to Drupal. Maybe I'll just wait for version 6 so I dont have to upgrade shortly after installing it.

Thea, version 6 is out, so you can use it today.

Good news! I wasn't aware that this version was ready to drop yet. Joomla's 1.5 just came out, too. Any idea how they compare?

Any major improvements? I wanted to test it but not sure what is new in the latest version. Anything important?

I'm going to install this week or next on a test instance. Will probably blog my impressions then.

I don't have much experience with Drupal or Joomla, althought I would really like to learn. This version seems very user friendly, so I may have to start using it and learning. I enjoy using Wordpress, and have learned so much about using it effectively that I'm reluctant to dive into something new.
