I just joined a gym after a few years of inactivity. Having recently lost about 30 pounds from working out and eating right, I decided to get some muscle tone back. When I was in college, I played Division 1 sports, which meant required weight training. But since that was more than 10 years ago I need a little help keeping track of my workout (reps and weights) so I am resorting to a strength training chart.
This one is based on a copy I got from a University web site. I plan to take this grid and do a little info design on it to make it easier on the eyes. For now here's the plain old grid...

The chart looks like good stuff, a few little alterations and it should look better on the eyes.

The chart is very useful. It is detailed and very complete.
Thanks for sharing it.

Regaining past strength and muscle size after not weight training for years should come more quickly than it did in the first place due to muscle memory. It's possible to get back the size and strength that took years to build in a few months.

Hi there, I really like what you are saying although I can't agree fully on all things you are saying. But I really appreciate your efforts to explain details on muscle building and fitness in general. I would like to see more sites/blogs like this one. Cheers , Sasha
