Jing Project

Jing is a Skitch clone being tested by TechSmith, makers of Camtasia and SnagIt. The Skitch experience is better in many respects, but Jing brings with it the ability to capture video/screencast and export to SWF. It also runs on both Windows and Mac. Skitch has been in closed beta so long, that I fear it will be eclipsed by Jing if TechSmith really takes their product seriously and improves the experience with the Screencast.com portal. Will be interesting to watch this unfold and see what the reaction is to TechSmith's copying of Skitch's experience.

Hi,

you can actually configure an ftp account as well to upload it to your own webspace and get an embed code for that.
see more at

(which is nice, if it wasn't for the fact that Jing keeps crashing on my Win XP box...)
